The GMA Bloggers' Style Camp 2017 Winner Announced
Two teams, one goal.
To promote GMA Network’s annual #HeartOverHate campaign with the main message of "Letting your words be someone’s inspiration".
It intends to empower bystanders to speak up and protect the cyberbullied victims through a photo shoot with the theme, “Have The Heart Of A Hero, Use Your Words As Your Super Power To Spread Love and Overcome Hate.”
With the objective of reaching more people to be one in our advocacy, we also invited the country’s top Youtubers and Vloggers to participate in this year’s project.
Thanks to Mark Casas, project head for the GMA Bloggers Style Camp 2017, for sending me an invite to the culmination held at URBN Bar in Timog Ave., I got to witness one of the lit events of GMA.
Team Action, led by Nazamel Tabares and joined by his team members: Rain de Ocampo, MJ de Leon, Stanley Briz, Kristine Roces, Ana Victorino, Gen-zel Habab, Florencio Jusay Jr., Allan Sancon, and Albert Abelido, won the people choice award as well as in several other categories, and emerging as the champion with their concept of having an alter ego to take action against bullying.
The Kapuso celebrities who participated in this year's campaign were Super Ma'am stars Kim Domingo, Meg Imperial, and Matthias Rhoads.
The winners took home Canon items as well as items from the other main sponsor, Primera Light brandy.
About the competition
Bloggers’ Style Camp is an artist building fashion photography competition which involves GMA Networks artists along with the country’s top entertainment, lifestyle, fashion and beauty bloggers. It also aims to strengthen the relationship of GMA with its online influencers through campaigning socially relevant advocacies. Each team had a roster of stylists, fashion and entertainment bloggers, as well as hair and makeup artists to come up with the campaign.
