Intense Day 2 of the 2019 Taiwan Excellence Esports Cup

It was indeed a powerhouse Day 2 of the 2019 Taiwan Excellence Esports Cup at The Block Atrium, SM City North Edsa.
262 teams battled it out in an intense interbranch playoffs from all over the Philippines. From a savage beginning with Bren Esports dominating the CS:GO competition and will be flying to Taipei for a friendly match with teams from Thailand, Malaysia, Taipei and Indonesia.
 It was CX Blanc turn to show no mercy with a 2-0 win on the League of Legends championship bagging total prize of PHP66,000! This wild second day match was hosted by Eric Eruption Tai, shoutcasted by Een Mercado and G10, and graced by gamer and influencer Ashley Gosiengfiao.
Taiwan Excellence is the very first of its kind in the country organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) since 1990, the Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT), MOEA, Taiwan, and has been implemented each year by, as a part of the Taiwan Excellence branding efforts. This only proves Taiwan's commitment in bringing technologies in the competitive arena in the Philippines.

Taiwan Excellence Esports Cup is the merging of immense talent of Filipinos for eSports with the advanced technology of Taiwan gaming products; truly a hard-to-beat tandem that could shake the walls of global eSports.
Highlighting exhilarating tournaments for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (08:60) and League of Legends (LoL), the teams who vied for a slice of the competition’s P430,000 prize pool showed how fabulous gameplay can be further boosted through the use of high-quality gaming devices from top Taiwan brands.
Among the products on site at the recently concluded 2019 Taiwan Excellence eSports Cup were the Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) Strix Scar lll G531, ROG Strix G G731GV, Asus TUF Gaming FXSOSDV, and ROG Zephyrus M. 
Gigabyte's Z390 Aorus WaterForce Xtreme motherboard, Aorus memory cards and peripherals, AVerMedia's plug-and-play AM310 USB microphone, anin's WINBOT Limited Edition Transparent Spherical case, and Kingmax's Semiconductor were also on display for guests to try out.
Aourus, by the way, is a Taiwan Excellence awardee for its wide array of premium gaming products. The graphic card will feature Ray Tracing allowing the instant and better rendering of reflections, refractions, and shadows from the light principle for more realistic graphics.
Transcend and T-Force also showcased their line of memory cards and external portable SSDs, while Zyxel will introduce its tri-band Wi-Fi system, and an array of peripherals s from XPG, Zadak, and G.Skill were also demoed at the event.

As a next step to help boost the Philippine eSports community, the winning team of the 08:60 tournament will be representing the country in an upcoming international competition in Taiwan, which will be the culmination of a series of Taiwan Excellence eSports Cups also held in Malaysia, Thailand, and India.
Also featured in the event was a cosplay battle with a prize pool of Php70,000 and other amazing prizes.
