National Sardines Month 2024: Mega Sardines – Supporting Filipino Households with Freshness & Quality

What started as a one-day observance of National Sardines Day on November 24 has evolved into a full month of celebration in November, highlighting the brand's ongoing commitment to its customers and the communities it serves.

In honor of National Sardines Month, MPFI organized a series of on-ground events across key regions. The festivities kicked off on November 3 in Albay, including essential relief efforts for families affected by Typhoon Kristine in the areas of Libon, Lapu-Lapu, and Taysan. Following this, MPFI continued its community support in Tuguegarao, Davao, Cebu, and Metro Manila.

The grand finale took place on November 24 at Market! Market! in Taguig, where MPFI transformed the venue into a vibrant “Peryahan sa Bayan,” inspired by Filipino town fiestas. This lively, carnival-themed event featured fun booths, exciting games, and a DIY bar where visitors could create their own Mega Sardines recipes, showcasing the brand's versatility and fresh offerings.

The celebration also featured prominent guests, including MPFI’s Marvin Tiu Lim, brand ambassador Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo, food influencer Ninong Ry, and YouTube personality Cong TV, all of whom participated in the festivities and interacted with attendees. Their presence underscored Mega Sardines’ dedication to nurturing Filipino households and building stronger community bonds.
