Sining Filipina 2025 Art Competition Now Open for Entries: A Call for Women Artists to Champion Sustainability

Attention all Filipina artists!

The highly anticipated Sining Filipina, the Philippines' first nationwide all-women art competition, is back for its 2025 edition. 

This prestigious competition invites women artists to showcase their creativity through art, with this year’s theme, “Her Earth, Her Future,” encouraging participants to explore and express their vision of women leading the charge in sustainability. Whether through painting, mixed media, or other visual art forms, Sining Filipina offers a unique opportunity to celebrate women’s creativity while promoting environmental advocacy.


The competition offers generous prizes to reward the talent and dedication of the winning artists:

  • 1st Prize: PHP 250,000
  • 2nd Prize: PHP 150,000
  • 3rd Prize: PHP 100,000
  • 4th Prize: PHP 75,000
  • 5th Prize: PHP 50,000
  • 6th to 10th Prizes: PHP 15,000 each


Presented by SM Supermalls and Chinabank, with support from Airspeed, the competition empowers women artists by giving them a platform to express their creativity while supporting social change. All entries will benefit the Zonta Club of Makati and Environs, furthering the competition’s commitment to women’s empowerment.


Theme of the 2025 Edition: "Her Earth, Her Future"

Sining Filipina encourages artists to reflect on the role women play in sustainability, from environmental stewardship to sustainable practices in everyday life. This year’s theme highlights how women are leading the charge in protecting the planet and shaping a sustainable future for generations to come.


How to Enter:

The competition is open to all Filipino women artists. Interested participants can begin submitting their entries starting January 3, 2025. To enter, artists should email siningfilipina.secretariat@gmail.com or follow the Zonta Club of Makati and Environs on social media to access the official entry form and competition guidelines. All entries must be submitted by February 13, 2025.


Artists can submit original works in oil, acrylic, or mixed media, with dimensions of 2ft x 3ft or 3ft x 3ft.
