StuckWith3: Embracing Hope, Growth, and Balance in My Mom E Journey

As the year ends and a new one begins, I reflect on all that has happened.

Being a freelancer and a Mom E of three means my life is always busy, filled with both joy and challenges. But this time of year gives me a chance to stop and think about how far I’ve come and how much more I can grow. Puhon.

Looking back, I realize how much I’ve learned. There were tough days when I felt overwhelmed by work, family, and everything in between. But each challenge taught me something important. I’ve learned that I’m stronger than I think, and that progress doesn’t always come in big steps—sometimes, it’s just about showing up every day, even when it feels hard.

Good health has been a priority these past years. Taking care of myself is not always easy, but it’s essential. If I’m not healthy, I can’t take care of my family or do my work to the best of my ability. Prioritizing my physical and mental well-being is the foundation that allows me to be present for my kids and excel in my freelance career.

I pray that 2025 will be a fortunate year. I know there will still be busy days, but I’m excited for the chance to grow, improve, and find more balance. I’m not aiming for perfection, but for progress. Freelancing gives me flexibility, but it also requires me to be organized and intentional with my time. This year, I want to find that sweet spot where work and life feel in balance, while also taking care of myself.

Hope and faith—what keep me going. It’s the belief that no matter how tough things get, I can make it through. This year, I want to hold onto that hope and faith and pass it on to my kids. I want them to see that no matter what challenges we face, we can always keep moving forward, together.

Even when life feels heavy, I hold onto the belief that hope and faith are powerful forces, reminding me that every difficult moment is temporary and brighter days are ahead. Teaching my children to embrace them, no matter the obstacles, is one of the greatest gifts I can give them.

In the middle of all the chaos, I remind myself to be grateful for the small moments. Whether it’s a quiet moment with my kids or time to relax after a busy day, these are the things that make life beautiful. I don’t want to let the busyness of life make me forget to enjoy these simple moments.

Being a freelancer and a mom can sometimes feel isolating, but I know I’m not alone. I’m forever grateful to be part of Madiskarte Moms Ph, powered by PLDT Home, an inspiring community of lovely women balancing work and family. This year, I’ll make time to connect with others who understand what I’m going through. Sharing experiences and leaning on others makes the journey a little easier.

Grateful to you, Oh, Lord.

Xoxo,
