Fun Ranch Ortigas Halloween 2014 Boo-Time Party: Kids Costume Contest, Rides & Family Activities

Halloween at Fun Ranch means no tricks, just treats… it’s all for the kids and the kids at heart as well.

For those looking for a not-so-scary, family-friendly Halloween event, Fun Ranch is always the perfect choice. Friendliest staff, kid-friendly place.

For the second year in a row, Ms. Stuckwith3 here was invited and served as one of the judges for the annual Boo-Time Halloween costume contest. Truly grateful to Ms. Ana for our complimentary tickets!

My kids were super excited and got there as early as possible. See? All alone.

But first, we needed to register at the events counter to secure a seat at the party area.

Consistently, no problems occurred, tickets checked, stamped wristbands checked, loot bags checked! We were all set.

Undoubtedly, I love Halloween. As a child, I dreamed of dressing up and going trick-or-treating with my neighborhood friends. Sadly, it wasn’t really an “in” thing during my time, but that didn’t stop me from researching decorations and costume how-tos. It even took up most of my free time back then.

So of course, when my kids were born, I could hardly contain my excitement for them to finally be old enough to go trick-or-treating.

This year, they opted to wear the costumes they used for our Christmas event last year. Not a problem for me, though.

For ₱550 per ticket, it already includes a food cart stub (popcorn and cotton candy), drinks, snacks, a meal, a trick-or-treat stub, plus a Ride-All-You-Can wristband at Fun Ranch, where your kids can ride to their heart’s content. Awesome, right?

Fun Ranch Ortigas features the following rides: Carousel, Ferris Wheel, Train Ride, Red Baron Plane Ride, Bumper Car, Kiddie Bumper Boat, Tea Cup Ride, Pirate Ship, Swing Ride, Roller Coaster, Balloon Flight, Space Quest, Airborne Adventure (weekends only), and Balloon Flight.

The Fun Ranch in Ortigas is my kids’ favorite hangout place, so basically, we already had our own “exclusive tour” of the place way before.

The party wasn’t just about the Halloween costume contest.

Fun-filled games were also held, along with a gazillion awesome raffle prizes from generous sponsors. I kept crossing my fingers for the buffet dinner or hotel accommodation, but unfortunately, none of our names were called.

Better luck next time!

This year, I saw a lot of store-bought costumes especially plenty of Elsa and Anna looks, yes, from Frozen.

I do appreciate simplicity, but as I mentioned in my previous post, I’ll still be choosing the best simple yet most creative costume.

This little one has proven how creative moms can be when it comes to DIY projects.

Some of us really spend time and put in the effort to plan and customize our kids’ DIY Halloween costumes. Kudos to this original creation, a little stoplight with blinking lights that showcases excellent DIY skills!

Again, thank you Fun Ranch for inviting us and making my kids truly happy.

See you again next year (hopefully).

Grateful for these awesome sponsors!
