RTL CBS Entertainment Media Appreciation Night: Upcoming Shows Revealed

It was indeed a fun night at PRIVE in BGC, where nearly everyone from the press, cable channel operators, and social media influencers gathered for the media appreciation night hosted by RTL CBS Entertainment.

(One big revelation: I’m a Margarita-virgin. Forgive me! Thank you for this night.)

The entertainment channel has been on air for more than a year now, and even more top shows from around the globe are set to air soon, announced by Swedish executive and CEO of RTL CBS Entertainment Network Asia, Jonas Engwall.

These upcoming programs include the Billboard Music Awards, Hollywood Film Awards, People Magazine Awards, the American Music Awards, and of course, the Golden Globes.

This month, Hollywood Film Awards will start off the awards season in the US this Nov 15, Saturday at 8:30am (7:30am JKT/BKK) on RTL CBS Entertainment HD hosted by Queen Latifah, with a special half-hour red carpet show featuring fashion and interviews with the stars as they arrive.

Historically, the Hollywood Film Awards has celebrated some of the biggest names in film.

Previous honorees include: Amy Adams, Ben Affleck, Annette Bening, Sandra Bullock, George Clooney, Glenn Close, Russell Crowe, Penelope Cruz,  Robert DeNiro, Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kirk Douglas, Robert Duvall, Clint Eastwood, Jodie Foster,  Morgan Freeman, Richard Gere, Dustin Hoffman, Anthony Hopkins, Angelina Jolie, Diane Keaton, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lawrence, Jack Lemon, Matthew McConaughey, Julianne Moore, Sean Penn, Joaquin Phoenix, Julia Roberts, Geoffrey Rush, Susan Sarandon,  Hilary Swank, John Travolta, Christoph Waltz, Naomi Watts, Forest Whitaker, Michelle Williams and Robin Williams, among others.

The show will be followed by the American Music Awards on November 24th, 9am in the morning.
