This was the song that constantly playing in my head when another awesome product of GrabTaxi was finally revealed to us recently and the Country Marketing Head of Grab Taxi Philippines, Ms. Kristina Lim, was the one who introduced this newest product-the Grab Heli - A helicopter experience powered by GrabTaxi App, as well as Philjets Group.
But before revealing this to us, the media first were asked to go to a certain place and a GrabCar would pick us up from there, bringing us to a secret place.
Later on we found out that THAT secret location is at Philjets lair in Pasay.
The media from my GrabCar kept on guessing, even begging the driver to reveal where the secret location was.
I, on the other hand, already knew where we were going to. One blogger, who got there early, already sent me information about the location. Sorry!
Anyway, If the rumors are true, that you need to have at least 96,000 pesos in the pocket to book a helicopter for a 1 hour ride back then. Honestly, as a mom of 3, never in a million years would I shell out 96,000 for that! Come on! It's like paying my kids' tuition fee for the whole year!
That is why I'm a loyalist GrabTaxi App user because their goal is to make not only luxury available for the Pinoys, but giving us only the best. Now, everyone has the opportunity to experience what it feels like to be Anastasia steele for once (*insert Love Me Like You Do song).
So, are you all wondering now why a land transpo app would launch a product like this?
Aside from IT being awesome already, Grabtaxi wanted to give back to their loyal passengers , such as I, who supported the app for 2 years after launching here in the Philippines.
Remember, 2 years ago, they've introduced the app GrabTaxi only in Metro Manila but now they are overly in 6 cities : Manila , Cebu, Davao, Baguio, IloIlo, and Bacolod.
Now, they have about 6 products : GrabTaxi, GrabCar, GrabCar Premium, GrabExpress, GrabBike, and for now it's the awesome GrabHeli!
Sadly, I was not able to attend the launching of GrabExpress and GrabBike months ago because I was too sick.
Anyway, I'm really excited for GrabTaxi for their wide array of products to choose from.
So, how on earth would you be able to get a Helicopter on a random weekend? It's really easy!
For now, GrabHeli will be an aerial tour for everyone to experience what it's like to board on Christian Grey's awesome ride. Eventually they will be launching an airtaxi , meaning, no more FB status posts like "stuck in traffic for hours on the way to events". Goodbye EDSA!
GrabHeli has only 4 helipads : 1 in Pasay, 2 in Makati, more in Quezon City but they are looking for more perfect helipad locations around the metro before launching the airtaxi.
The price?

A helicopter ride will only be Php 3,888 per person! What a cheapo,right? No number minimum of persons who has to book. This is so awesome for those who want to propose to their loved ones or just to celebrate their anniversary up in the air.
There's also GrabPay - Grab's very own credit card payment solution, that was also launched that day.
Grab's core thrust is to always be hyper local. They want to understand the market, and has the appetite to know what we need the most.
They saw that most Pinoys nowadays embrace card payment solutions and people opt to use credit and debit cards more often.
I guess, it's about time for this kind of solution to enter Grab's world, right? And for now, this is the only payment solution you can use to book GrabHeli.
As they say, no more selecting from plastic or Paper. You can choose both now.
