Filipino AC Installers Shine at Midea Club Flash Installation Tournament 2025 ASEAN Finals

Filipino air conditioner installers have made a remarkable mark at the Midea Club Flash Installation Tournament 2025 ASEAN Finals, showcasing speed, precision, and technical mastery on the regional stage.

Held in Foshan, China, the tournament brought together the top HVAC professionals from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam, following rigorous national qualifiers that saw over 10,000 participants across Southeast Asia. The event celebrates excellence in AC installation while promoting higher industry standards and professional growth throughout the region.

Representing the Philippines, Mark Kevin Peña claimed the prestigious Master of Speed 2025 title, taking home a $5,000 cash prize. Lui Kher Sze of Malaysia secured second place, and fellow Filipino Jerome Pumaren earned third place. The Philippines also took home the National Award, recognizing the outstanding overall performance of its delegation.

With the theme “Master Speed, More Profits,” the competition highlights Midea’s commitment to boosting installer expertise, enhancing customer service, and elevating HVAC standards across ASEAN. Beyond the competition, participants visited Midea’s Innovation Park and Guangzhou Factory, gaining firsthand insight into the technology, engineering, and research behind Midea’s air conditioning solutions. The tour underscored the brand’s dedication to continuous learning and collaboration with industry professionals.
