1:30 PM

The true spirit of the holidays shone brightly as SM Supermalls brought communities together through SM Besties of Joy and ChriSMiles, turning simple acts of generosity into heartfelt moments for children across East Metro.

With the support of shoppers and the dedication of employee volunteers, SM City Marikina, SM City Masinag, and SM City San Mateo became hubs of compassion, joy, and meaningful holiday giving.

At SM City Masinag, SM Besties of Joy reached children from Barangay Pintong Bukawe in San Mateo, Rizal, sharing gifts and smiles that made the season extra special. In the same mall, SM employee volunteers led ChriSMiles activities for children from Precious Heritage Children’s Home, filling the day with laughter, treats, and warm holiday cheer.

SM City Marikina also embraced the season of giving as SM Besties of Joy supported children under the care of the City Social Welfare and Development of Marikina City. Meanwhile, employee volunteers spent a joyful day with children from Marikina Kids Town, bonding over games, snacks, and thoughtful gifts that created lasting memories.

At SM City San Mateo, both SM Besties of Joy and ChriSMiles focused on children from the San Mateo Day Care Center. SM employees organized a lively holiday program at the mall’s activity area, complete with games, gift giving, and shared moments that captured the joy of Christmas.

These holiday initiatives highlight SM Supermalls’ continued commitment to uplifting communities and fostering a strong culture of volunteerism. Every donation from generous shoppers and every hour given by employee volunteers helped brighten the holidays for children and families throughout East Metro.

SM Supermalls extends its heartfelt thanks to everyone who took part in SM Besties of Joy, proving that when communities come together, the season becomes more meaningful. Through shared kindness and generosity, countless smiles, hope, and joy were spread this Christmas.
