Samsung set the tone for CES 2026 by revealing its bold new vision, Your Companion to AI Living, during The First Look event in Las Vegas.

Held at the Wynn’s Latour Ballroom, the showcase highlighted how artificial intelligence is no longer just a feature, but the foundation connecting Samsung’s products, services, and user experiences across everyday life.

From smarter TVs and immersive entertainment to intuitive home appliances and proactive health solutions, Samsung’s CES 2026 presentation showed how AI is evolving into a trusted companion that supports people throughout their day.

AI as the Heart of Samsung’s Ecosystem

TM Roh, CEO and Head of Samsung’s Device eXperience Division, opened the event by emphasizing that Samsung’s leadership in AI comes from its massive connected ecosystem. With AI embedded across mobile devices, displays, home appliances, and services, Samsung aims to move beyond basic functionality and help users enjoy more meaningful moments.

According to Roh, Samsung’s approach focuses on creating a unified and personal AI-driven ecosystem that works seamlessly in the background, adapting to individual lifestyles rather than forcing users to adapt to technology.

A Smarter Entertainment Companion for the Home

Samsung’s Visual Display team introduced a new era of AI-powered entertainment, blending advanced hardware with intelligent software. Drawing on two decades of TV innovation, Samsung unveiled its most comprehensive AI TV lineup yet.

At the center of attention was the 130-inch Micro RGB TV, a statement piece that redefines large-screen viewing. With independently lit red, green, and blue micro-sized diodes, the display delivers exceptional color accuracy and depth. Its refined Timeless Frame design keeps the focus on the picture while blending effortlessly into modern interiors.

Powering this next-level viewing is Vision AI Companion, which transforms Samsung TVs into full entertainment partners. Instead of simply playing content, the TV can suggest what to watch, recommend music, and even help plan meals based on what appears on screen. Voice commands make interaction effortless across Samsung’s Micro LED, OLED, Neo QLED, Mini LED, and UHD TVs.

Samsung also introduced intelligent viewing modes tailored to specific interests. AI Soccer Mode Pro enhances picture and sound to replicate stadium-level excitement, while AI Sound Controller Pro lets viewers adjust crowd noise, commentary, or background music to their preference.

A Complete Audio and Gaming Upgrade

Samsung expanded its audio ecosystem with new WiFi speakers, Music Studio 5 and 7, designed to deliver richer sound while complementing home decor. Designed by Erwan Bouroullec, the speakers reflect Samsung’s focus on combining performance with aesthetics.

Gamers were not left out. Samsung revealed its most advanced Odyssey gaming monitor lineup to date, led by the world’s first 6K 3D Odyssey G9. With higher resolutions, faster refresh rates, and immersive visuals, the new lineup targets both competitive gamers and creative professionals.

All of these display innovations are powered by Samsung’s latest Tizen OS, now backed by seven years of upgrades, ensuring long-term value and continuous improvement.

Smart Appliances That Act as Home Companions

Samsung’s vision extended beyond entertainment into the heart of the home. The Digital Appliances team showcased how AI is turning everyday appliances into proactive helpers that reduce stress and save time.

SmartThings, now serving over 430 million users worldwide, plays a key role in this transformation. At the center of the smart home is the Family Hub refrigerator, upgraded with AI Vision powered by Google Gemini. The system can recognize food items, track what goes in and out, and simplify meal planning.

Features like What’s for Today provide recipe suggestions based on available ingredients, while SmartThings Food delivers step-by-step cooking guidance. Video to Recipe technology converts cooking videos into easy instructions, allowing users to cook along without interruptions.

Samsung also introduced FoodNote, a weekly summary that helps users understand their food habits, manage groceries, and plan meals more efficiently.

AI Innovations for Laundry, Cleaning, and Clothing Care

In the laundry room, the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo eliminates the need to move clothes between machines, combining washing and drying in one streamlined process. Faster cycles and improved drying performance make it ideal for busy households.

Samsung also unveiled the Bespoke AI AirDresser, designed to refresh clothes using air and steam. With Auto Wrinkle Care, users can smooth shirts simply by hanging them inside, saving time during hectic mornings.

For floor care, the Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra brings advanced intelligence to cleaning. It can recognize liquid spills, navigate efficiently, and even monitor the home while users are away, sending alerts about pets or unusual activity through SmartThings.

Proactive Care Through Connected Intelligence

Samsung closed The First Look by sharing its long-term vision for proactive health and wellness. By connecting smartphones, wearables, appliances, and other devices, Samsung aims to help users stay ahead of potential health concerns.

Future AI-driven health coaching will support better sleep, smarter exercise routines, and personalized nutrition based on what is available at home. When unusual health patterns are detected, users can receive alerts and securely share data with healthcare providers through integrated platforms.

Samsung is also investing in research partnerships focused on early dementia detection, using wearables to monitor subtle changes in movement, speech, and engagement over time.

Security Built for the AI Era

With such deep personalization comes a strong focus on security. Samsung Knox and Knox Matrix form the backbone of its AI ecosystem, protecting user data across devices. As AI continues to evolve, Samsung is strengthening its security systems to address emerging risks, including safeguarding data used in AI training.

A Clear Vision for the Future of AI Living

Samsung’s CES 2026 presentation made one thing clear: AI is no longer just about smarter devices. It is about creating a connected ecosystem that supports entertainment, simplifies home life, and promotes proactive care, all while keeping user data secure.

With Your Companion to AI Living, Samsung is positioning itself at the center of the AI-powered future, where technology works quietly and intelligently to make everyday life more seamless and personal.
