Mr. Pizza, Korea’s #1 Pizza Chain, Now in the Philippines
Pizza date night is a weekly affair for my family. My eldest daughter and son absolutely love pizza.
For them, there’s simply nothing that compares to it, especially when it’s homemade or made with all-natural ingredients.I’ve tried several times to make homemade pizzas, but to no avail. Despite my best intentions, I don’t always have the time. It’s quite time-consuming, especially when the dough and sauce are made from scratch, the toppings are freshly picked from Mommy Ana’s garden, and I still have to source all-natural cheese.
Recently, I received an exciting invite that had me practically jumping out of my seat, the opening of a pizza chain, and not just any pizza chain, but Korea’s number one pizza brand.
Mr. Pizza has finally opened its doors to all pizza lovers here in the Philippines.
Now, I can let my kids taste only the best because Mr. Pizza brings to the table its “300% Principle”, 100% Hand-Kneaded dough, 100% Full-Hearted toppings, and 100% Grill-Baked perfection.
Mr. Pizza doesn’t use frozen dough and instead prepares everything using fresh, natural ingredients made from scratch. When you order, you can even watch your pizza being made and tossed in the air with flair.
You’re also greeted by their cheerful staff calling out “On Air!” as you enter the store—an experience that makes dining even more fun and memorable.
They will soon open at Robinsons Manila this July and at Sm North Edsa this August.
A little background for everyone: Mr. Pizza was founded in 1990 and has been recognized as the number one pizza brand in Korea since 2009.
It is also the only food brand listed on KOSDAQ, marking a significant milestone in the food and beverage industry. Beyond Korea, Mr. Pizza has expanded internationally, with locations in countries such as China and the United States, among others.
The brand credits its continued success to its strong commitment to cleanliness, kitchen sanitation, store ambiance, high-quality ingredients, and excellent customer service.
When it comes to variety, Mr. Pizza can rightfully claim that it offers truly unique flavors.
We tried some of their top-of-the-line pizzas.
The Vegetarian pizza is perfect for those who are on a diet. It’s loaded with vegetables and mushrooms, and contains no oil since it is grill-baked. Once you’ve tasted it, you’ll immediately notice the difference.
Price: Regular – ₱330 | Large – ₱550
Meet one of Mr. Pizza’s all-time favorites, the Shrimp Gold.
This pizza is generously topped with whole shrimp, seasoned with a sweet and sour chili sauce, and finished with Cajun spices made from peppers, onions, garlic, and herbs.
Prices:
Regular – ₱680 | Gold – ₱780
Large – ₱880 | Gold Large – ₱980
If you opt for the GOLD crust, it means you’ll get a delicious cheese-stuffed crust for an even more indulgent experience.
Have you ever heard of a pizza with a mocha bun crust?
If you’re into sweet-and-savory flavors, Macho Grande from Mr. Pizza might be the perfect choice for you.
This unique pizza features a combination of rare round steak toppings paired with a cream cheese–stuffed mocha bun crust, creating a rich and indulgent flavor experience.
Prices:
Regular – ₱630 | Mocha Bun Regular – ₱730
Large – ₱830 | Mocha Bun Large – ₱930
The Bulgogi Pizza from Mr. Pizza is loaded with Korean-style bulgogi charcoal-grilled beef, and it easily tops my list of their best pizzas.
Prices:
Regular – ₱380
Large – ₱580
You can order 4 Mozzarella Sticks for only ₱230. However, I’m not quite sure if it was due to the cooking process or part of their health protocol.
The cheese inside, although soft, tasted a bit bland for my preference. I also didn’t try the mustard dip since I’m not really a fan of dips. Hopefully, they’ll consider adding more seasoning or flavor to make it even more enjoyable.
We tried one of their premium pastas, the Crab Carbonara from Mr. Pizza, which features crab meat, shrimp, and bacon, all coated in a rich and creamy carbonara sauce.
It is priced at ₱330.
