Meet and Greet Alden Richards and Jericho Rosales Plus Win a Trip to Malaysia as Robinsons Supermarket Celebrates 30 Years | Anniversary Promo

Did you know that the first Robinsons Supermarket branch opened in Cebu Fuente in 1985?

Before it became known as Robinsons Supermarket, it was also called BIG R. Since then, the supermarket has grown to 116 stores nationwide.

Now, Robinsons Supermarket marks another milestone as it celebrates 30 years, which I was fortunate enough to witness not too long ago. Wow, 30 years of Robinsons Supermarket!

I regularly do my grocery shopping there because of its wide selection of fresh produce and great variety of products. It was actually my first time visiting the large Robinsons Supermarket Forum Pioneer in Pasig, and Mr. Jody Gadia, General Manager of Robinsons Supermarket, shared that the store was recently renovated. They also launched the first apple shaped health and wellness section during the media event. This is their biggest wellness section yet, dedicated to helping shoppers make healthier choices more easily.

Robinsons Supermarket has truly come a long way. Their plan includes continuous transformation and evolution in the coming years. They have already introduced different store formats that cater to the specific needs of their customers.

One example is Robinsons Selections, which recently opened in Bonifacio Global City, with plans to open two more branches. Another format introduced last year is a mini mart concept store, which is still being refined to better address consumer accessibility concerns.

Robinsons Townville, launched last August 14, is another significant development. The concept of Townville focuses on community and neighborhood living, with the tagline “It’s your community mall.” These stores aim to make daily essentials more accessible, so customers no longer need to travel through heavy Manila traffic just to buy what they need for their families.

It has truly been a journey of growth for Robinsons Supermarket, marked by transformation, continuous improvement, and a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences.

While change is constant and change is good, there is one thing that has remained unchanged at Robinsons Supermarket: their passion and commitment to uplifting the well being of Filipino families.

Robinsons Supermarket’s market equity has always been anchored on health and wellness. They are the only retailer with a partnership with FNRI, which supports their mission of promoting healthy and nutritious food choices. All the green tags you see inside their stores indicate items that have been evaluated and certified as healthy and nutritious by FNRI.

For them, this is a continuous journey of promoting better food choices for Filipino families. As Mr. Jody mentioned, health, freshness, and wellness are part of their DNA.

On the occasion of the 30th year of Robinsons Supermarket, they are launching a category promotion called Family Fun Fair, which will run from August through September. This exciting campaign gives consumers a chance to win trips abroad, including Malaysia, along with other exciting prizes.

The Family Fun Fair events will be held at Robinsons Place Manila from August 28 to 30, Robinsons Place Malolos from September 4 to 6, and Robinsons Place Dumaguete from September 18 to 20.

Meanwhile, Robinsons Supermarket Card Members get double the fun as they are entitled to amazing rewards and bonuses throughout the month of September. A special one day Thank You Day Caravan will also start rolling out in September, exclusive for members, so watch out for it.

Not only that, you will also have the chance to be part of a Meet and Greet with Jericho Rosales and Alden Richards in select stores. Unfortunately, specific dates have not yet been announced.

Plus, shoppers can discover wellness through a series of exciting activations.

Do not forget to join Robinsons Supermarket as it celebrates "30 fresh years".
