What started as a local skincare brand focused on making science backed products more accessible has grown into a major force in the Philippine beauty market.

Dermorepubliq has now surpassed 4.5 million units sold across two of its best selling skincare products, while continuing to hold the title of Top Beauty and Personal Care Brand on TikTok Shop Philippines.

The milestone comes as the Filipino skincare company records a remarkable 310% year on year revenue increase from 2024 to 2025, reflecting the growing demand for affordable, dermatologist tested skincare designed with sensitive and acne prone skin in mind.

Millions of Filipinos Are Choosing Dermorepubliq Skincare

At the center of Dermorepubliq’s rapid growth are two products that have become familiar names among Filipino skincare shoppers.

The brand’s 5% Niacinamide + Hyaluronic Acid Serum has surpassed 3 million units sold nationwide on TikTok Shop, while its viral 7% Glycolic Acid Toner has crossed the 1.5 million unit mark.

Combined, the two bestselling products have generated more than 4.5 million units in sales, signaling a strong shift in consumer preferences toward skincare that combines accessible pricing with science backed formulations.

For Dermorepubliq founder and CEO Keith Sta. Barbara, the numbers represent more than commercial success. They point to a changing mindset among Filipino consumers.

“The level of growth we've achieved reflects the fundamental shift in how Filipinos approach skincare,” said Sta. Barbara. “Our goal has always been to make science backed formulations accessible to those with sensitive skin without breaking the bank.”

He added that the sales milestones demonstrate the growing importance consumers place on transparency, product efficacy, and clinical research rather than relying solely on traditional notions of brand prestige.

From Viral Skincare Brand to TikTok Shop Leader

Dermorepubliq’s rise on TikTok Shop has been supported by years of digital growth rather than a single viral moment.

The brand recently received the Innovative Content Award at the TikTok Shop Summit 2026 on July 13, adding to a growing list of industry recognitions. Previous honors include the Emerald Award for Top Beauty Brand at the TikTok Shop Annual Awards 2025 and Best Local Hero Campaign at the TikTok Ad Awards 2024.

Behind its strong digital performance is a combination of live commerce, creator partnerships, and affiliate marketing. Dermorepubliq has built an extensive network of affiliate creators who help bring its products directly into consumers’ everyday social media feeds.

This approach mirrors a broader change in how people shop for beauty products. Instead of relying exclusively on traditional advertisements, consumers are increasingly turning to creator recommendations, peer reviews, live product demonstrations, and transparent conversations about skincare.

Putting Skin Education at the Center

Dermorepubliq is also investing in education as part of its growing community.

At TikTok Beauty Fest 2026, the brand returned to the main stage to conduct masterclasses focused on skin education while highlighting developments in local cosmetic research.

The move reinforces the brand’s community first strategy, positioning Dermorepubliq not only as a seller of skincare products but also as a voice in conversations surrounding accessible and informed skincare.

Dermorepubliq Expands Beyond Skincare

With its digital presence firmly established, Dermorepubliq is now taking its next step toward an omnichannel business model for the second half of 2026.

The company is expanding into the health and wellness category with new products including DermoWhite+ S-Acetyl Glutathione Capsules and DermoSip Collagen Juice.

At the same time, the brand is bringing its online popularity into physical retail. Dermorepubliq is expanding into select Watsons stores nationwide while growing its network of dedicated kiosks at SM Fairview, SM Masinag, SM Tanza, SM Sta. Mesa, and Riverbanks Center.

For shoppers who first encountered the brand through TikTok, the growing physical presence offers another way to connect with Dermorepubliq products beyond the screen.

A Local Beauty Brand Making a Bigger Mark

Dermorepubliq’s momentum has also been recognized beyond the beauty industry. Its viral “breakup” billboard campaign recently earned a Gold Stevie at the 2026 Asia Pacific Stevie Awards, highlighting the brand’s willingness to take a more creative approach to marketing.

With millions of products sold, a strong creator community, major TikTok Shop recognition, and an expanding retail presence, Dermorepubliq is becoming one of the Philippines’ most visible homegrown beauty companies.

Its latest milestones also reflect a larger shift in the local beauty market. Filipino consumers are increasingly looking for skincare that feels effective, affordable, transparent, and easy to access. Dermorepubliq’s growth suggests that local brands can compete strongly when they understand those needs and meet consumers where they already shop.

Dermorepubliq products are available at select physical stores nationwide and through TikTok Shop, Shopee, Lazada, Watsons Online, and the brand’s official website at www.dermorepubliq.com.
