Acer Day 2026 Brings SB19 and Top OPM Stars to a Night of Music at Araneta Coliseum
Thousands of fans came together for a night filled with music, energy, and celebration as Acer Day 2026 took over the Araneta Coliseum.
Marking two major milestones for the brand, Acer celebrated its 10th Acer Day anniversary alongside its 50th year as a technology company. The occasion turned the iconic Manila venue into a massive gathering of music fans, with more than 8,500 Acer supporters showing up for a concert packed with some of the biggest names in Original Pilipino Music.
Leading the star studded lineup were Acer ambassadors SB19, who brought their signature energy to the stage. They were joined by 6cyclemind, Hey June!, El Manu, Jessy Kang, Dionela, Fitterkarma, and Earl Agustin, giving the audience a diverse mix of sounds and performances throughout the night.
The crowd also got a few unexpected treats. Janine Berdin made a surprise appearance, while Filipino music legend Jose Mari Chan added a festive touch to the evening with his beloved Christmas classic, “Christmas in Our Hearts.” Keeping the celebration moving from one performance to the next was host Luis Manzano.
Acer Day 2026 Puts #ShiftTheGame in the Spotlight
More than just a concert, Acer Day 2026 centered on the message #ShiftTheGame, a theme encouraging young Filipinos to challenge familiar routines, take charge of their goals, and look at culture, work, and play from a different perspective.
That spirit extended beyond music. This year's celebration also highlighted fitness, reflecting Acer's growing presence in the lifestyle space through products such as Acerpure home appliances and its latest range of Acer luggage.
For Sue Ong-Lim, Managing Director of Acer Philippines, the evolution of Acer Day reflects the changing interests and lifestyles of its community.
“Acer is constantly evolving to stay relevant to what our customers are passionate about,” Ong-Lim said. “As we mark 50 years as a brand and 10 years of Acer Day, we wanted this celebration to be bigger and more meaningful than ever.”
A Celebration That Started Before the Concert
The Acer Day festivities did not begin when the concert lights came on.
The celebration kicked off on August 1 with the Acer Electric AI Night Run, bringing the #ShiftTheGame message into the fitness arena. The 2026 festivities will continue until September 13, when the Music Run takes place at the SM MOA Complex.
Billed as “Asia's Fittest Party,” the upcoming event will give Acer fans another opportunity to come together through music, movement, and an active lifestyle.
With its combination of live performances, fitness activities, and lifestyle offerings, Acer Day 2026 showed how the annual celebration has grown beyond a single concert. What started as a yearly music event has become a broader celebration of technology, entertainment, creativity, and the people who continue to embrace what's next.
