Logitech Spotlight 2 Makes Presenting Smarter With Haptic Guidance and Digital Highlighting
Giving a presentation can be stressful, whether you are speaking to a packed conference room, leading a meeting, teaching a class, or presenting virtually to colleagues across different locations.
The technology should make that moment easier, not add another thing to worry about. That is where Logitech Spotlight 2 comes in.
Announced by Logitech in the Philippines, the new premium presentation remote is designed to put greater control in the hands of speakers. Rather than functioning as a basic slide clicker, Spotlight 2 combines haptic feedback, digital highlighting tools, customizable controls, and an ergonomic design to help presenters stay focused on their audience and message.
For professionals who regularly move between in person and hybrid presentations, it offers a more intuitive way to control the room without constantly looking back at a laptop.
A Presentation Remote That Helps You Stay in Control
One of the standout features of Spotlight 2 is its force sensitive highlighting button.
The control is designed to naturally guide the presenter’s thumb into position, allowing important details on a slide to be highlighted without requiring the speaker to look down at the device.
Subtle haptic feedback adds another layer of control. When highlighting slide content, the presenter can receive tactile feedback through the device, making interactions feel more deliberate and responsive.
The haptic functionality also plays a role before the presentation begins.
Spotlight 2 includes a guided breathing experience that uses soft haptic pulses to help presenters regulate their breathing before stepping in front of an audience. For anyone who has ever felt those familiar pre presentation nerves, having a simple physical cue to pause and breathe can be a useful addition.
“Presenting can be a high pressure moment, even for experienced speakers,” said Sally Yu, Head of Distribution and Retail at Logitech Philippines. “Spotlight 2 brings together intuitive controls and subtle haptic guidance to help Filipino professionals feel more grounded and empowered.”
Highlight the Details That Matter
Traditional laser pointers can draw attention to a single spot on a screen, but modern presentations often require more flexibility.
Spotlight 2 expands the presenter’s toolkit with several digital highlighting effects, including Spotlight, Squarelight, Magnify, and Annotation. Presenters can also use a Digital Pointer and Class 1 laser when a more traditional pointing method is preferred.
These tools can make a major difference when explaining charts, emphasizing figures, walking through documents, or directing attention to a specific part of a presentation.
Whether the audience is sitting in the same room or joining remotely, the goal is the same: make sure the important information does not get lost on the screen.
Turn the Action Button Into Your Shortcut
Every presenter has a different workflow, and Logitech designed Spotlight 2 with that in mind.
Through the Logi Options+ App, users can customize the device and assign shortcuts to the Action Button. Depending on their setup, presenters can use a single press to perform actions such as starting a presentation, pausing content, blanking the screen, or muting audio.
This customization turns Spotlight 2 into more than a presentation clicker. It can become a compact command center for frequently used presentation controls.
Instead of reaching for a keyboard or laptop in the middle of a presentation, speakers can keep their attention on the audience.
Designed for a More Natural Grip
Presentation remotes are often held for long periods, so comfort matters.
Spotlight 2 features an updated grip designed to provide a secure and confident hold. Its premium construction and force sensitive controls are intended to make navigation feel natural while reducing the distraction of a device slipping in the hand.
The idea is simple: the presenter should be thinking about what to say next, not where the remote is or which button to press.
Built With Sustainability in Mind
Logitech has also incorporated recycled and responsibly sourced materials into Spotlight 2.
The presenter includes aluminum manufactured using renewable energy, while the plastic components in the Graphite, Sand, Light Lilac, and Black models contain 43% post consumer recycled plastic.
Using recycled plastic gives materials from older consumer electronics another purpose while reducing the need for new plastic.
The packaging also uses FSC certified paper, adding another sustainability focused element to the product’s design.
Bluetooth or Logi Bolt Connectivity
Getting connected is designed to be straightforward.
Spotlight 2 supports two connection methods. Users can pair it through Bluetooth or use the included Logi Bolt USB C receiver.
The presenter also offers a wireless range of up to 30 meters, or approximately 100 feet. That gives speakers more freedom to move around a meeting room, classroom, stage, or presentation space without staying tethered to their computer.
For presenters who like to walk around while speaking, that extra freedom can be particularly useful.
Long Battery Life With a Fast Charge
Battery anxiety is the last thing anyone wants before an important presentation.
Logitech says Spotlight 2 can provide up to three months of use on a full charge. Even when the battery is nearly empty, a one minute charge can provide up to three hours of presentation time.
That quick charging capability can be especially handy when a presentation starts sooner than expected and there is barely enough time to prepare.
Works Across Popular Presentation Platforms
Spotlight 2 is designed to work across major presentation platforms, including PowerPoint and Google Slides, as well as Keynote on macOS and Windows.
This cross platform support makes the presenter suitable for a variety of professional, educational, and business environments.
Whether you are presenting quarterly results, teaching a class, pitching an idea, or leading a remote meeting, the same device can provide control across different presentation setups.
Logitech Spotlight 2 Price and Availability in the Philippines
In the Philippines, the Logitech Spotlight 2 retails for PHP 8,295.
It is available through Shopee, Lazada, and Logitech authorized retail partners.
The available colors include Graphite and Sand, while Light Lilac and Black are offered in select markets.
For professionals who frequently present, the Spotlight 2 positions itself as a premium alternative to conventional presentation remotes. Its combination of haptic guidance, digital highlighting, customizable controls, wireless freedom, and fast charging gives presenters more ways to manage both their content and the room.
Ultimately, Logitech is betting that the future of presenting is not simply about moving from one slide to the next. It is about giving speakers the tools to communicate naturally, stay focused, and make every important point easier for their audience to follow.
