Canon Philippines Kicks Off PhotoMarathon 2026 with Exciting Camera Prizes

Canon Marketing Philippines, Inc. gathered media partners, brand ambassadors, and the professional creator community on January 27, 2026, to celebrate creative milestones and launch Canon PhotoMarathon 2026 during its annual Thanksgiving Celebration.

The Canon PhotoMarathon, first introduced in Singapore in 2003, has grown into a celebrated regional competition spanning countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Now in its 19th year locally, the event continues to challenge photographers to craft striking visuals under tight deadlines and themed prompts.

This year, the competition expands beyond photography with a video category, giving participants the opportunity to tell stories through motion, sound, and narrative.

The main event will take place on April 18, 2026, at the BGC Amphitheater in Taguig City, welcoming professionals, hybrid creators, camera club members, students, and photography enthusiasts. Many categories are open to creators using any camera brand, ensuring that everyone can join in.

In the lead-up to the PhotoMarathon, photographers can visit the Canon booth at PhotoWorld Asia 2026 from January 29 to February 1. Attendees can enjoy exclusive deals and freebies worth up to ₱20,000 on select Canon cameras and accessories.

Additionally, Canon will host photowalks, school tours, and regional tours from February to March 2026, providing hands-on learning and engagement for photographers of all skill levels. Admission to these events is free and open to all digital camera users.
