Is Your LG Air Conditioner Still Running After All These Years? Join the Hunt for the Oldest Unit in the Philippines

LG Electronics Philippines has kicked off an exciting nationwide search for the country’s oldest still-working LG residential air conditioner.

The campaign, running from January 22 to March 31, 2026, aims to celebrate the durability and reliability of LG air conditioners that have kept Filipino homes cool for years.

“Filipino families have trusted LG air conditioners for decades, a testament to the long-lasting performance of our products,” said Nakhyun Seong, managing director of LG Electronics Philippines. “This campaign is our way of honoring those loyal users and hearing the stories behind these remarkable units.”

Who Can Join

The promotion is open to Philippine residents aged 18 and above who own a residential LG air conditioning unit that:

Has a legible serial or model number to verify its age
Is still fully operational

LG employees, dealer partners, and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are not eligible.

How to Participate

Joining is simple and fun. Participants must:

Follow LG Philippines on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok.
Create a video showcasing:

The old LG air conditioner
The serial or model number
The unit turned on to prove it still works

3.Upload the video as a public post on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok using #LGairconSearch and tag @LGPhilippines

4. Register at LG Promo Registration and submit personal details, the link to the post, and the video file

All entries must be submitted by March 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

How Entries Are Judged

Videos will be evaluated based on:

Age of Unit – 30%
Functionality – 25% (video must clearly show the unit working)
Video Content – 35% (share your story and why “LG Aircon is the Cool That Lasts”)
Video Quality – 10% (clear MP4 video)

Prizes

Winners will receive brand-new LG split-type air conditioners:

1st Prize: HS12APX3 (1.5 HP) – Php 65,788
2nd Prize: HS09APX3 (1 HP) – Php 61,588
3rd Prize: HS09IPX3 (1 HP) – Php 53,188

Prizes are non-convertible to cash and non-transferable.
