Pinoy ARMY Unite as PLDT Home Powers BTS Comeback Watch Party in Quezon City

Filipino BTS fans turned a global livestream into an unforgettable shared celebration as PLDT Home Fiber hosted an exclusive watch party for the group’s long-awaited return.

When the lights dimmed at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, the excitement wasn’t confined to South Korea. Thousands of miles away in the Philippines, the energy was just as electric as fans tuned in to witness BTS reunite on stage for their new album ARIRANG.

On March 21, PLDT Home brought together its subscribers for a special screening of BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, streamed worldwide via Netflix. The 60-minute performance marked the highly anticipated return of RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook following their hiatus for mandatory military service.

Held at Myeongdong Korean Gastropub, the watch party welcomed around 200 passionate fans. The venue buzzed with excitement as attendees enjoyed Korean food, games, and activities while watching BTS take the global stage once again.

The event transformed what would typically be a solo viewing into a lively, communal experience. It showcased how strong internet connectivity can bring people together, even when the concert is happening halfway across the world.
