SM City Grand Central Lights Up Northern Metro Manila with a Magical Venetian Christmas Wonderland

Christmas magic takes on a colorful Italian charm at SM City Grand Central as the mall welcomes the holiday season with Venetian Wonderland, a spectacular 2026 Christmas centerpiece inspired by the romantic canals of Venice and the vibrant, rainbow colored houses of Burano, Italy.

Step into the mall atrium and be transported to a festive European village where glowing waterways, charming bridges, colorful façades, and enchanting Christmas characters bring the beauty of a Venetian holiday to life. Designed to spark joy and create memorable moments, the attraction invites families, friends, and shoppers to slow down, take photos, and soak in the warmth and wonder of the Christmas season.

A Colorful Italian Christmas Comes to Caloocan

At the heart of Venetian Wonderland is a stunning 34 foot, multi tiered Christmas tree crowned with brilliant illuminated starbursts. Surrounding it are pastel colored façades inspired by Burano, the picturesque island in the Venetian Lagoon famous for its brightly painted homes and cheerful streets.

A softly glowing canal winds through the centerpiece, adding a touch of Venetian romance to the festive setting. A traditional gondola, complete with a cheerful gondolier elf, brings the scene to life, while brick arch bridges, warm street lamps, lush Christmas greenery, and European inspired details create the atmosphere of a magical Christmas evening in Italy.

Every corner offers something worth admiring, turning the mall atrium into a colorful holiday escape right in the heart of Northern Metro Manila.

Christmas Market Charm and Picture Perfect Moments

The festive spirit continues beyond the main installation, with holiday pop ups and market inspired stalls scattered around the atrium. Drawing inspiration from the charm of European Christmas markets, these spaces feature gifts, keepsakes, and seasonal treats that add to the excitement of holiday shopping.

Whether searching for thoughtful presents, enjoying a leisurely mall visit, or simply taking in the festive surroundings, shoppers can find more reasons to make their Christmas outings special.

For families and friends who love capturing holiday memories, the Venetian inspired setting offers plenty of picture perfect spots. The gondola, glowing canal, colorful houses, and delightful Christmas characters create eye catching backdrops for festive photographs, family portraits, and social media worthy snapshots.
