Discover Local Talent at SM City Masinag’s “Art for Everyone” Exhibit

Celebrate Filipino creativity at its finest as SM City Masinag presents the Art for Everyone exhibit, running until July 26, 2025.

This annual art event in Rizal is part of a larger nationwide initiative across SM Supermalls, designed to spotlight the talents of emerging and established local artists.

The exhibit officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Badz Magsumbol, a well-known paper artist and founder of the Papercutters Guild of the Philippines. He was joined by SM Supermalls executives including Ronald Allan Brosas, Senior AVP for Operations; Don Vijandre, Regional Operations Manager; and April Duques, Mall Manager of SM City Masinag.

Located at the Mall Atrium, the exhibit features over 200 artworks ranging from vivid paintings and modern digital illustrations to detailed papercut pieces and innovative mixed media. It offers visitors an accessible and enriching way to explore the evolving landscape of Philippine visual art.

This year’s lineup at SM City Masinag includes works from the following artist groups and individuals:

Valenzuela Visual Art Society (VVAS): A collective of artists from Valenzuela City showcasing work in painting, sculpture, photography, and digital art.

Papercutters Guild of the Philippines (PGP): The country’s largest organization of papercutters, quillers, and paper sculptors, known for their intricate and imaginative paper creations.

89 Collective: A diverse group of creatives including painters, sculptors, portraitists, and even a soil artist, all committed to using art as a means of community engagement.

Badz Magsumbol: A key figure in promoting sustainable art practices through mentorship and education.
