FedEx Boosts Support for Filipino SMEs with Expanded Export Permit Services
FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. and one of the world’s leading express transportation companies, has expanded its export permit services to 41 additional retail locations across the Philippines.
This move strengthens FedEx’s commitment to supporting Filipino small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by making international shipping and regulatory compliance more accessible.The expansion includes 18 new International Parcel Express (IPX) branches and 23 Airspeed outlets, significantly increasing the reach of FedEx’s export permit services. These additions bring the total number of authorized FedEx export service locations to 240 nationwide, including 199 existing 2GO branches.
Each of these authorized retail outlets is equipped to help business owners with the documentation and requirements needed for international export shipments. This network is designed to streamline logistics for Filipino SMEs and e-commerce sellers, enabling them to ship goods abroad more efficiently and with full regulatory compliance.
FedEx’s export permit services support a wide variety of products, including fishery goods, digital storage devices, over-the-counter medicines, food supplements, medical devices, cosmetics, personal care items, items for repair and return, and certificates of origin. By offering assistance with permits for such a diverse range of items, FedEx ensures that small businesses can confidently meet export standards and deliver their products to global customers.
