Feel Yourself Pink Campus Tour Sparks Breast Health Awareness Among Filipino Youth
Avon Philippines takes breast cancer awareness to the next level by empowering students through the Pink Campus Tour, highlighting early detection and self-checks as life-saving habits.
Every October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month reminds us that protecting our health should start early. But this year, Avon Philippines is making that reminder hit closer to home or rather, to campus.
With its Feel Yourself Pink Campus Tour, Avon is bringing an urgent message straight to young Filipinas: taking care of your breast health isn’t just important, it could save your life.
Breast Cancer Is No Longer Just a Concern for Older Women
Did you know that 1 in 8 women globally will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime? And despite common misconceptions, the risk doesn’t wait until middle age. More women in their 20s and 30s are being diagnosed every year.
The good news? When breast cancer is caught early, the 5-year survival rate is 99%. That’s why early detection through self-checks and awareness is critical, especially for younger women who may not think they’re at risk.
Avon’s Decades-Long Mission to End Breast Cancer
As one of the world’s most purpose-driven beauty brands, Avon has been fighting breast cancer since 1992. Over the past three decades, Avon has donated more than $951 million, funded 20 million screenings, and educated 180 million people globally about breast health.
Through its Breast Cancer Promise, Avon commits to making sure everyone knows the signs, understands the risks, and feels empowered to take action.
Now, that promise is going on tour.
The Pink Campus Tour: Building Habits That Can Save Lives
Running from October to November, the Feel Yourself Pink Campus Tour is Avon’s nationwide campaign to make breast health part of everyday conversation among students. By bringing the movement to major universities, the brand hopes to normalize self-checks, encourage early detection, and create a generation of health-aware youth.
Partnering with the Philippine Cancer Society (PCS) and supported by organizations like ThinkPink.PH, GrabUnlimited, and Move It, Avon is combining education with action, delivering screenings, hosting talks, and creating safe spaces for students to ask questions and learn about their health.

More Than Awareness, Real Access and Impact
Avon’s advocacy doesn’t stop at education. Through its Pink Bus mobile clinic, in collaboration with PCS, Avon offers free breast health consultations and screenings in underserved communities and to its own Representatives.
This year, a percentage of proceeds from select Avon products will go toward funding PCS programs, giving customers an easy way to support the cause with every purchase. Items included range from beauty and fashion to intimate apparel and body care essentials.
A Culture of Health Starts with Conversations
“Breast health is not just a women’s issue, it’s a community issue,” says Marion Limlengco, Head of Communications at Avon Philippines. “When we talk about self-checks and early detection, we’re giving people the tools to take control of their health, and that’s incredibly powerful.”
Grab Philippines’ Bea Bravo adds: “Early detection shouldn’t be a privilege. Through this partnership, we’re making breast health awareness part of the student experience—and creating routines that could protect their future.”
