Sports retail giant Decathlon is stepping up its expansion in the Philippines with the opening of its newest and biggest urban concept store at Ayala Malls Manila Bay today, May 15, 2026.
Marking the brand’s 20th branch nationwide, the launch signals a major milestone in Decathlon’s ambitious journey toward operating 50 stores across the country by 2030.More than just another retail opening, the new Manila Bay branch represents Decathlon’s growing commitment to making sports, fitness, and wellbeing more accessible to Filipinos from all walks of life. Positioned in the heart of the bustling Aseana City district, the store is designed to become a vibrant community hub where families, athletes, beginners, and fitness enthusiasts can gather, move, and stay active together.
According to Hathaipat Theintangpiriya, CEO of Decathlon Philippines, the company’s vision goes far beyond selling sporting goods.
“This isn’t just a store; Decathlon is Manila’s biggest playground. But we aren’t stopping here, with many more projects already in the works. Malayo na, pero malayo pa ang mararating natin.”
The newly opened Decathlon Manila Bay is also the brand’s largest collaboration with Ayala Malls so far, showcasing a modernized city store concept built to serve the growing demand for accessible sports spaces within Metro Manila.

Inside the massive new branch, customers can explore more than 5,000 products across over 70 different sports categories. From running, cycling, swimming, hiking, and basketball to camping and fitness training, the store aims to provide innovative yet affordable sports gear under one roof, helping both beginners and seasoned athletes stay active without overspending.
The opening of Decathlon Manila Bay is only the beginning of the company’s aggressive nationwide growth strategy. More stores are already lined up in key locations including Nuvali, Makati, Cavite, and Davao, bringing Decathlon closer to more Filipino communities eager for accessible and budget-friendly sports equipment.
As part of its growing presence in the country, Decathlon Philippines is also gearing up for its 9th anniversary celebration with a flagship running event happening on August 30, 2026, at SM Mall of Asia.
