As Quezon City’s first and only five-star integrated resort nears its second anniversary, it is choosing to celebrate not only with festivities but with purpose, focusing on education, care, and long-term support for young learners in nearby communities.

Back-to-School Joy for Sitio San Roque Children

On May 18, more than 350 children from Sitio San Roque in Barangay Bagong Pag-Asa came together for a day designed to make the upcoming school year brighter and more hopeful. The “Balik Eskwela” initiative brought together games, shared meals, creative activities, and moments of laughter that transformed an ordinary day into a memorable community celebration.

The program opened with remarks from Michael Diopenes, Vice President for Finance of Solaire Resort North, setting the tone for a day centered on encouragement and shared responsibility. Team members from the integrated resort joined forces with local barangay officials to engage with the children, creating an atmosphere where joy and support were felt in every activity.

Partnership with LOLA Foundation Brings Essential School Support

Just two days later, on May 20, Solaire Cares continued its outreach efforts in San Agustin, Novaliches through a meaningful partnership with the LOLA Foundation. The initiative focused on equipping children with the essentials they need to start school with confidence.

Beneficiaries received school supplies, shoes, bags, hygiene kits, and vitamins, ensuring that both their educational and health needs were addressed. Beyond the material support, the activity reinforced a deeper message of encouragement and equal opportunity for every child to pursue learning with dignity and confidence.
