Canon Supports Filipino Students with Budget-Friendly, High-Performance Printers
Canon Marketing Philippines is making student life easier and more affordable with its latest range of reliable, cost-effective printers.
Through its Campus Tour 2025 and the “Print Your Way to A+” campaign, Canon continues to deliver printing solutions designed to meet the academic demands of today’s students without putting a strain on their budget.
At a recent media launch held at Marco Polo Ortigas, Canon showcased its PIXMA and MAXIFY MegaTank printers, highlighting how these models offer long-term savings, efficient maintenance, and user-friendly features. With a low cost per page and high ink yields, these printers are ideal for both everyday assignments and larger academic projects.
One of the major highlights of the campaign is Canon’s announcement of reduced ink prices. In addition, students can now enjoy even more savings through Canon Rewards, which allows users to redeem points at over 400 merchants nationwide via Giftaway e-gift certificates. Canon demonstrated how students can track and use their points through the Canon App, making it easier to manage printing expenses while gaining rewards that can be used for daily essentials.
During the event, student leaders and media guests had the chance to test Canon’s MegaTank printers in hands-on demos. They explored practical features such as wireless printing, auto two-sided printing to save paper, and compact designs that fit neatly into student dorms or home study setups. The MAXIFY MegaTank models stood out for their impressive ink capacity, capable of printing up to 21,000 color pages or 9,000 black-and-white pages in economy mode.

"Our back-to-school campaign focuses on helping them meet those challenges with accessible, dependable tools that support both their academic and creative needs."
To further support students, Canon announced a special Ink Bundle Promo. Until September 30, 2025, purchases of select PIXMA MegaTank printer models (G2730, G3730, G4770, G3780, and G4780) will include a complimentary set of GI-71s inks. The company has also lowered the prices of individual ink bottles to make regular printing even more affordable.
Beyond technology, Canon’s event also touched on student wellness. Guest speaker Riyan Portuguez, a licensed psychologist known as “Your Millennial Psychologist,” emphasized the connection between mental health and academic performance. Her talk reinforced Canon’s commitment to holistic student support, recognizing that success in school depends not only on having the right tools but also on maintaining emotional well-being.
Canon’s Campus Tour 2025 is bringing these solutions directly to students across various academic institutions. The tour began at De La Salle University and will continue at:

- July 23–24: FEU High School
- Week of August 4: University of Santo Tomas
- Week of August 11: Assumption College
- Week of August 18: Ateneo de Manila University
- Week of August 25: Miriam College and Lyceum of the Philippines University
