J&T Express Philippines Supports Brigada Eskwela 2025 to Empower Schools and Uplift Communities

As the country prepares for a new academic year, J&T Express Philippines joined the Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela 2025 to help create better learning environments across the National Capital Region (NCR), Davao Region, and Region IV-A (CALABARZON).

The initiative reflects the company’s continued dedication to education, community engagement, and the Filipino spirit of bayanihan.

In Marikina City, J&T Express employees teamed up with teachers, parents, and volunteers at Parang Elementary School. Together, they repainted classrooms, cleaned the school grounds, and completed minor repairs. More than just improving school facilities, their presence served as a reminder to students that they are seen, supported, and encouraged to pursue their goals.

In Davao del Norte, the company launched a back-to-school campaign for 100 students from Magdum, New Visayas, Cambanogoy, and Apokon Elementary Schools. In collaboration with 97.5 Brigada News FM Tagum City, J&T Express distributed essential school supplies, helping children prepare for the new school year with confidence. This outreach aimed not only to support education but also to strengthen ties within the local community.

“At J&T Express Philippines, we view Brigada Eskwela as more than just a yearly activity. It’s a meaningful movement that brings people together to support students and educators,” said Penelope Maxine Bolor of the company’s Branding Department. “By lending a hand, we hope to create learning spaces where children feel safe, valued, and motivated. This is how we give back to the communities that continue to support us.”

In Rodriguez, Rizal, where many residents are still recovering from a recent landslide, the company brought its support to Inigan Elementary School. The school, which serves around 150 students from kindergarten to Grade 6, received much-needed assistance in the form of school supplies, snacks, and volunteer support. With help from the Department of Education, the local government, and The Fraternal Order of Eagles – Philippine Eagles, the team helped clean and restore the school grounds, standing in solidarity with a community committed to rebuilding.
