IKEA Drops Prices on 400 Best-Selling Home Items in the Philippines

1:14 PM

Starting August 19, IKEA Philippines is cutting prices by up to 20% on 400 popular home essentials, making stylish and functional living more affordable for Filipino families.

As the rainy season sets in, more Filipinos are spending time indoors, rethinking how their homes serve their everyday needs. From cozy living rooms to more efficient kitchens, there's growing interest in creating spaces that are not just comfortable, but also budget-friendly. With inflation and rising living costs, practical home solutions are more important than ever.

In line with its vision of Democratic Design, IKEA Philippines is now permanently reducing prices on hundreds of well-loved items, making quality furniture and home goods more accessible to every Filipino household.

“In the Philippines, we know how important it is to stay within budget and make every peso count,” shares Ricardo Pinheiro, Country Retail Manager of IKEA Philippines. “By reducing prices on 400 of our most popular products, we’re helping more people create better homes without overspending. Good design should always be affordable.”

Pinheiro adds that affordability doesn’t mean sacrificing design. “Filipino homes are shared, lived in, and built with care, even on modest budgets. These price reductions are here to support families who value comfort, practicality, and style.”

Whether you’re planning a full home refresh or just upgrading a few essentials, IKEA’s price cuts mean more value for your money. Here are five reasons why now is the perfect time to revamp your home with IKEA:

1. Organize and Declutter on a Budget

As we enter the second half of the year, it’s a great time to reorganize and simplify your space. Whether it's your work-from-home setup or a shared family room, a clean and well-arranged home can make a huge difference in your day-to-day mindset.

Start with smart furniture like the Malm single bed, now available at ₱9,999 (down from ₱11,990), offering storage underneath to maximize small spaces. Pair it with the Utespelare gaming desk, now ₱7,999 from ₱8,990.

2. Get Ready Before the “Ber” Months

The holiday season in the Philippines starts early. August is the perfect time to get ahead of the holiday rush and prep your home before parties, guests, and festive chaos take over.

Consider small upgrades with big impact, like the Variera pot lid organizer in stainless steel, now at ₱399 (previously ₱450), or the versatile Hornavan trolley for your guest bathroom, now ₱699 from ₱890.

3. Affordable Home Refresh

A full renovation might be out of the question, but small updates can completely change the look and feel of a room.

The timeless Poang armchair, inspired by Scandinavian and Japanese design, is now ₱3,555 (from ₱4,000), offering a soft silhouette and ergonomic comfort perfect for relaxing after a long day.

4. Support a Midyear Mental Reset

Beyond physical spaces, your home also shapes your emotional well-being. The midyear season is an opportunity to reflect, reset, and create an environment that nurtures calm and clarity.

Set up a reading nook with the Linanas sofa, now available at ₱13,999 (down from ₱14,990), where you can unwind and refocus during the rainy evenings.

5. Maximize Storage Ahead of the Holidays

With more celebrations, shopping, and family gatherings around the corner, additional storage is a must. IKEA is known for its practical and space-saving storage solutions that help make room for what matters.

Try the Brimnes chest, now just ₱6,999 from ₱8,990, to tuck away both everyday items and those you're not quite ready to part with.
