Jetstar Expands Access to Australia With Direct Flights From Manila and Cebu

You’ve heard the jingle, and now it hits closer to home. Jetstar is making it easier (and more affordable) than ever to plan your next big getaway, long-overdue family reunion, or business trip, with two brand-new direct routes connecting the Philippines and Australia.

Starting 27 November 2025, Jetstar will launch direct flights from Manila to Perth. Just a few days later, on 3 December 2025, a second direct service will take off between Cebu and Brisbane. Both routes will operate three times a week, powered by Jetstar’s modern, fuel-efficient Airbus A321LR aircraft, designed to deliver longer range with greater passenger comfort.

These new services will add more than 108,000 low-fare seats annually, unlocking greater access for both Filipinos and Australians to travel, connect, and discover more.

Jetstar’s Growing Footprint in Asia-Pacific

This launch is part of Jetstar’s ambitious growth across the Asia-Pacific region. Since June 2024, the airline has launched or announced 20 new domestic and international routes, marking a bold commitment to regional travel.

Much of this growth is powered by Jetstar’s investment in next-generation aircraft, including the Airbus A321LR and A320neo, while its wide-body Boeing 787 Dreamliners are being redeployed to serve expanding long-haul demand.
