Cobra Energy Drink Powers Dreams with TESDA and DOLE Program for Filipino Workers

Cobra Energy Drink is giving more than just an energy boost, it’s fueling real change in the lives of hardworking Filipinos.

Through its flagship program “Tatag sa Pagtupad ng Pangarap Kasama ang TESDA,” in partnership with TESDA NCR – PAMAMARISAN District Office and DOLE-TUPAD, Cobra is helping transform aspirations into achievements.

As part of the initiative, 29 beneficiaries from #TeamLakas received free TESDA-accredited technical-vocational training, national competency assessments, and a Cobra “Panimula Kit” to help them launch sustainable careers or small businesses. These individuals, many of whom were displaced, underemployed, or unemployed, are now regaining control over their futures.

Real Stories of Strength and Second Chances

The program’s scholars showed what true grit looks like.

Judy Baliwag Lomboy, who completed Bread and Pastry Production, joined the program after facing financial setbacks. With the support of Cobra and TESDA, she’s now turning her love for baking into a livelihood.

“Naging inspirasyon ko ang aking pamilya. Lubos akong nagpapasalamat sa pagkakataong ito para makabangon at magtagumpay,” Judy shared.

Jennelbel Amulat, a graduate of the Housekeeping course, is now confidently preparing for overseas employment and entrepreneurial ventures.

“Dahil sa programa ng Cobra, TESDA, at DOLE-TUPAD, makapagsisimula ulit ako. Hindi ko sasayangin ang pagkakataong ito,” she said with hope in her voice.

Jonalyn Yarra Abogado is also a Housekeeping graduate, balancing part-time work while applying abroad.

“Maraming salamat sa Cobra at sa buong team ng programang ito. Ang tulong at kaalaman na nakuha namin ay tunay na mahalaga,” she expressed.

Each TESDA National Certificate earned was more than just a document, it was a symbol of resilience and a renewed sense of purpose. Meanwhile, the Cobra “Panimula Kit” gave graduates the essential tools to confidently start their new paths.
