Filipina Mompreneurs Take Center Stage as Gawad Madiskarte Marks Five Years of Impact

PLDT Home and Madiskarte Moms PH (MMPH) are celebrating a powerful milestone, five years of uplifting Filipina mompreneurs across the country.

What began as a grassroots movement during the pandemic has blossomed into a vibrant, supportive community of over 215,000 moms who juggle family life, personal growth, and entrepreneurship with unwavering heart and hustle.

At the core of this celebration is the 4th Gawad Madiskarte, the flagship awards program that recognizes mom-owned businesses making waves in their communities and across the nation.

Empowering Moms to Lead With Heart and Hustle

More than just a recognition program, Gawad Madiskarte has become a stage for real stories of resilience, innovation, and purpose-driven entrepreneurship. Since its launch, the initiative has trained and empowered over 25,000 Filipina mompreneurs, giving them the tools to turn side hustles into sustainable businesses that uplift families and drive local economies.

This year’s awards feature two divisions to honor different stages of business growth:

• Start-Up Mompreneurs – For businesses operating for at least 6 months
• Scale-Up Mompreneurs – For DTI/BIR-registered businesses running 13 months or more

• Diskarteng Angat – For growth, innovation, and business excellence
• Diskarteng May Puso – For social good and community impact
• Diskarteng Eco-Friendly – For environmental sustainability and stewardship
