Panahon sa Taiwan Travel Fair 2025 Sees Strong Turnout and Reignites Pinoy Wanderlust
The excitement was unmistakable at Robinsons Galleria Ortigas as the Panahon sa Taiwan Travel Fair 2025 officially kicked off on August 30, 2025.
Organized by the Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA), the two-day travel fair drew in throngs of curious and enthusiastic Filipino travelers, all eager to explore what Taiwan has to offer in the coming year. The opening ceremony was marked by a lively ribbon-cutting led by Deputy Representative Dustin T.S. Yang of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in the Philippines and Cindy Y.T. Chen, Director of the Taiwan Tourism Information Center (TTIC) in Manila. They were joined by key partners from major airlines and travel agencies, signaling a strong collaboration to boost Taiwan-bound tourism from the Philippines.
The fair was more than just a showcase, it was a cultural experience. Visitors got a taste of Taiwan’s famed night market scene through classic games like ring toss and bottle hoop, while travel exhibitors including China Airlines, EVA Air, Amkor Travel and Tours Inc., BF Travel and Tours Inc., Everbright Travel & Tours Inc., Jeron Travel, and Sole Destinations Travel offered exclusive deals and travel packages to Taiwan.
Cindy Chen emphasized Taiwan’s growing popularity among Filipino travelers, backed by the latest mid-year data from the TTA. Thanks to visa-free entry for Philippine passport holders and aggressive marketing efforts, Taiwan remains a top pick for Pinoy tourists. From its four-season weather and efficient transportation system to its unbeatable street food and warm hospitality, Taiwan continues to check all the boxes for an unforgettable vacation.
Adding star power to the event were travel content creator Xzar Lim and actress Bea Binene, who both shared their personal adventures in Taiwan, from bustling city streets to serene scenic spots. Their stories resonated with attendees and further fueled the desire to visit.
Beyond the travel deals, visitors immersed themselves in Taiwan’s cultural charm through a Lucky Lantern D.I.Y. workshop and a special Taiwanese Night Market exhibit. Lucky guests even won roundtrip tickets from Manila to Taipei, making the event even more memorable.
The Panahon sa Taiwan Travel Fair 2025 wraps up on August 31, with a much-awaited return appearance by Bea Binene. The Taiwan Tourism Information Center in Manila invites everyone to drop by and start planning their dream getaway to Taiwan.
