Discover the Natural Goodness of Organic European Dairy as the EU Campaign Wraps Up in the Philippines

1:30 PM

The EU Organic Dairy campaign in the Philippines is entering its final chapter, and what a journey it has been.

To celebrate, DDB recently hosted “The Dairy Good Academy – Brunch Edition” at the elegant Grand Hyatt Garden Pavilion.

The event was a delightful mix of delicious food, insightful discussions, and a deeper dive into the benefits of organic European dairy, from farm to table.

Tom Alonzo, Digital Marketing Manager of Arla Philippines and campaign representative, kicked off the event by highlighting the campaign’s core message: choosing organic European dairy is not just good for your body, but also better for animals and the environment. Over the past two years, this message has resonated with many Filipinos looking for wholesome, natural options.

Experts shared valuable tips on how to incorporate organic dairy into daily life. Jeaneth Aro, an Olympic-level performance nutrition coach, explained how milk is a perfect post-workout recovery drink, providing hydration and energy to fuel muscle repair. Registered nutritionist Jo Sebastian revealed how organic European dairy can transform meals, making dishes creamier and more flavorful, a smart way to get even picky eaters excited about new foods.

Adding a tasty touch to the event, celebrity chefs Roland “Chef Lau” Laudico and Jac Laudico treated guests to a live cooking demo. They showcased how organic European dairy can elevate classic Filipino favorites like chicken pastel with cheese crust, cheesy beef caldereta, kamote cheese mash, grilled cheese pandenini, and baked cream cheese poqui poqui, turning everyday dishes into something truly special.

The event’s lively Q&A panel also touched on how expanding access to organic European dairy is encouraging more Filipinos to embrace these natural products, making it easier and more enjoyable to make healthier food choices.

Why Organic European Dairy Stands Out

European organic dairy follows some of the strictest standards in the world. Farms must ensure at least 95% of ingredients are organic, completely avoid artificial additives, hormones, GMOs, and limit synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. Animal welfare is paramount, cows roam freely on lush pastures and are fed a 100% organic diet without antibiotics or hormones, ensuring healthier animals and better milk quality.

Denmark shines as a global leader in organic dairy. It was the first country to establish organic farming laws, national standards, and a trusted organic label that assures consumers of quality and authenticity. Torben Sonderby of Klint Organic shared insights from his 240-cow farm, where 85-90% of the cows’ feed is pesticide-free roughage. Regular feed quality tests keep their organic promise strong.

Bringing Organic Dairy Closer to Filipino Homes

The EU Organic Dairy PH campaign isn’t slowing down yet. From August 2025 to January 2026, DDB will roll out product samplings at top supermarkets nationwide and host VIP consumer classes. These sessions will offer hands-on experiences, wellness talks, cooking workshops, and exciting giveaways, all aimed at helping Filipinos appreciate and easily identify genuine organic European dairy products.

Mom, entrepreneur, and lifestyle influencer Steffy Gerona shared, “As a mom who loves preparing nutritious meals, I’m reassured knowing that organic European dairy is carefully produced. Recognizing the EU organic logo now helps me make smarter choices for my family.”

Lars Witt Jensen, Senior Marketing Manager at the Danish Dairy Board, added, “It’s encouraging to see more Filipinos interested in what organic means and its benefits. Our goal is to empower consumers so they can confidently choose products with the EU organic logo and enjoy the natural goodness that comes with it.”
