Big Bad Wolf Books 2025 Opens in Metro Manila — Found ₱60 Deals and BookTok Must-Haves!

As a mom of three curious and energetic readers, I’m always on the lookout for ways to fuel their love for books.

So when we heard the much-anticipated return of Big Bad Wolf Books was happening in Metro Manila, we marked our calendar right away. We’ve been attending since the early years, and this 2025 edition at V-Mall, Greenhills definitely lived up to the hype.

The sale runs from May 23 to June 2, with doors open 10AM to 9PM (Mon–Thu) and extended to 10PM on weekends. With over 2 million books at up to 95% off, it’s a dream come true for families, book collectors, and anyone hoping to build or expand their home library without overspending.

Here in the Philippines, improving literacy rates remains a challenge. And as a parent, I believe in starting young. Giving our kids access to books and showing them that reading is fun, not a chore, is one of the most important things we can do.

Thanks to books starting at just ₱60, the Big Bad Wolf sale helps make books affordable for all. It’s one thing to read about stories online, it’s another to let your kids walk through rows of books, hold them, and choose what speaks to them. That’s real magic.

What You Can Expect at Big Bad Wolf 2025

Books for Every Kind of Reader
This year’s sale is bursting with popular titles across genres: from viral BookTok picks to educational finds for kids. Some of the standout deals we saw:

  • Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo — Php 750 → BBW Price: Php 340
  • The School for Good and Evil by Soman Chainani — Php 950 → BBW Price: Php 340
  • The Last Letter by Rebecca Yarros — Php 800 → BBW Price: Php 400
  • Immortal Longings by Chloe Gong — Php 1,600 → BBW Price: Php 440
  • Ace of Spades by Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé — Php 1,327 → BBW Price: Php 400

My kids each found something they loved, rom fantasy novels to illustrated science books, and I was just as excited flipping through the adult fiction section myself!

A Must-See for Aspiring Writers
If you love local literature, don’t miss Filipina author Mica de Leon on May 25 at 1:30 PM. She’ll share how she published seven books in one year, and offer tips for aspiring writers. As a mom, it’s inspiring to see someone from our own community achieving so much in publishing.

  • Deals, Discounts, and Family Fun
  • Beyond the rock-bottom prices, there are tiered discounts to sweeten your haul:
  • ₱200 off for every ₱2,000 spent
  • ₱500 off for every ₱5,000
  • And yes — there’s exclusive Big Bad Wolf merch too!

What I love most about events like this is how they turn reading into a family activity. Watching my kids light up as they pick out books for themselves reminds me why we keep coming back every year. No screens, no distractions, just the joy of stories.

More Than a Sale: The Red Readerhood Program

Big Bad Wolf is also making a difference through its Red Readerhood Program, which lets customers donate books to underprivileged children. Don't forget to make a donation during checkout, a small way to help give another child the gift of reading.
