Ultramarathoner Natalie Dau Reaches 1000km Finish Line at Jollibee’s 1000th Store in Bonifacio Global City
On May 2, 2025, fitness icon and ultramarathon runner Natalie Dau reached the emotional finish line of her 1000km charity run at a landmark location: Jollibee’s 1000th store, located at BGC Triangle in Taguig City.
Her incredible journey, dubbed Project 1000, began on April 21 in Santa Ana, Cagayan. Over 12 days, Natalie covered 1000 kilometers from Northern Luzon to Metro Manila—uniting communities, sparking joy, and raising funds for underprivileged Filipino children along the way.
A Journey Fueled by Purpose and Passion
With the ever-smiling Jollibee mascot cheering her on from the starting line to the finish, Natalie’s mission wasn’t just about endurance—it was about impact. The run included charity events, school visits, and feeding programs, many of which were coordinated in partnership with Jollibee Group Foundation. Children who had never experienced a Jollibee meal before were treated to their first-ever taste of Chickenjoy, making the run even more meaningful.
“This run was about more than distance,” Natalie shared at the finish line. “It was about giving back, sharing smiles, and connecting with people. Filipinos have welcomed us with open hearts—this experience has changed me forever.”
A Hero’s Welcome in BGC
As Natalie entered Bonifacio Global City for her final stretch, she was joined by a powerful support crew: students from Sisters of Mary, Bayani Scholars from Fort Bonifacio Development Foundation Inc., running enthusiasts, and her own family and friends. The atmosphere was electric, with cheers echoing through the streets as she completed her final steps into the iconic Jollibee store.
Even Jollibee himself joined Natalie on the last leg, dancing and waving as fans lined the route. It was a vibrant culmination of a journey defined by perseverance, generosity, and community spirit.
Celebrating Milestones: A Toast to Triumph
The post-run celebration at the BGC Jollibee store was attended by key supporters, including Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano, BCDA President Engr. Joshua Bingcang, and Jollibee executives Elise Maog, Pam Reyes, and Cecile Abadesco.
In a uniquely Filipino tribute, guests raised a Chickenjoy toast to honor Natalie’s feat—marking not only the end of her run but also Jollibee’s 1000th store milestone.
“Jollibee’s mission has always been to spread joy,” said Elise Maog, PR and Partnerships Lead. “Natalie’s journey perfectly reflects the values we stand for—hope, community, and the joy of giving.”
A Legacy of Inspiration
As Natalie posed for photos with Jollibee and the towering Chickenjoy bucket used for the ceremonial toast, it was clear that this was more than just a run—it was a moment of shared purpose and national pride.
For Jollibee, the opening of their 1000th store was a corporate milestone. For Natalie Dau, it was a personal triumph. And for the thousands of Filipinos who cheered her on, it was a reminder that endurance, compassion, and unity can go hand in hand.
