Celebrate Dad in Style: Solaire Resort’s Father’s Day Specials
Father’s Day always brings a wave of emotion. My dad passed away many years ago, but the connection we shared remains close to my heart. I’ve always been a daddy’s girl, and each year I try to find a meaningful way to honor his memory.
This year, I’m planning something extra special, not only to remember him but also to celebrate my husband, who is every bit the loving, dedicated father I hoped my children would have.
I'm thinking of spending the weekend at Solaire Resort Entertainment City, a place that offers both comfort and excitement, a perfect blend for reflection, quality family time, and celebration.
A Thoughtful Staycation
We’re planning to book the Weekend Family Fun offer, which includes a relaxing stay, buffet breakfast at Fresh for two adults and two kids under 12, plus Php 2,000 in food and beverage credits at the Pool Bar. It sounds like the perfect chance to slow down and be present with my family, a peaceful setting to remember my dad and create beautiful memories with my husband and kids.
A Little Adventure for the Man of the House
Since my dad loved trying new things, and my husband shares that same adventurous streak, we’re also eyeing the Father’s Day Pistol Package at the Sky Range Shooting Club. It looks like a fun, hands-on experience that he’ll truly enjoy, a great way to make him feel special.
A Sweet and Quiet Afternoon
One thing I’m most looking forward to is afternoon tea at Oasis Garden Café. The menu sounds indulgent, with options like whiskey pecan caramel tarts, savory tea sandwiches, and even sparkling wine. I imagine us enjoying a calm afternoon together, sharing stories, and appreciating the moment. It feels like the kind of tribute my dad would’ve loved, simple, heartfelt, and filled with laughter.
Feasting as a Family
We’re also planning to explore the different dining options Solaire has lined up for Father’s Day. Finestra’s Italian brunch is at the top of our list, I know my husband will love the roasted leg of lamb and the free-flowing champagne.
Red Lantern’s unlimited dim sum buffet is another must-try. The variety sounds incredible, from lobster dumplings to pan-fried Wagyu buns. It’ll be a fun way to treat the whole family.
Yakumi’s Father’s Day dinner looks like a true culinary experience. The five-course set, premium sashimi, and grilled Hokkaido scallops are definitely on our radar. And since my husband enjoys Japanese whisky, the curated Mars Iwai pairing will be the perfect way to end the evening.
Comfort Food and BBQ Classics
We also plan to try Waterside’s BBQ brunch, featuring favorites like pork belly lechon, chicken inasal, and ribs with banana ketchup. It reminds me of the simple joy of family cookouts growing up, and I’m excited to pass that on to my kids.
And of course, no visit would be complete without experiencing Fresh’s international buffet, from seafood to Filipino dishes like sisig, plus a donut wall and crepe station for dessert. It sounds like a feast that’ll leave everyone satisfied.
A Toast to All the Great Dads
To wrap up the weekend, we’re planning to stop by BRB for a relaxed evening with premium cocktails and drinks. It’ll be a chance to raise a glass, in memory of my father and in appreciation of my husband, who continues to work hard for our children.
This Father’s Day, we’ll be making space for remembrance and celebration, and Solaire is the perfect place to do it. If you’re planning something meaningful this year, it’s worth checking out.
