Mompreneurs Take Center Stage at PLDT Home 4th Gawad Madiskarte Awards Celebrating Women in Business
PLDT Home recently wrapped up its 4th Gawad Madiskarte Awards, shining a spotlight on Filipina mompreneurs who are building businesses while nurturing their families.
More than just a recognition program, the initiative has become a meaningful platform that celebrates the resilience, creativity, and determination of mothers making a real difference in their communities.Launched in 2020, Gawad Madiskarte has steadily grown into a powerful movement. Now in its fifth year, it continues to champion women who juggle the demands of home life and entrepreneurship, proving that success can be both personal and purposeful.
A Movement Built on Empowerment
This year’s celebration introduced the campaign “Panahon Mo Na,” a strong call encouraging mothers to embrace their entrepreneurial identity with pride. It recognizes the quiet dedication of women who have been building businesses behind the scenes while caring for their families.
At the heart of this movement is the Madiskarte Moms PH community, which has grown to over 227,000 members. The group serves as a support system where women share experiences, exchange advice, and empower each other through mentorship and digital tools.
PLDT Home highlighted the importance of reliable internet connectivity in helping these businesses thrive. For many mompreneurs, digital access is not just about growth, it is essential for managing both family responsibilities and business operations.
According to PLDT leadership, when women are equipped with the right tools and surrounded by a supportive community, they can expand their ventures, create opportunities, and uplift others along the way.

A distinguished panel of judges from various industries carefully evaluated each entry, bringing valuable insight into the selection process and ensuring that each winner’s impact and journey were thoughtfully considered.
Driving Change Through Community and Connectivity
Gawad Madiskarte goes beyond celebrating business success. It emphasizes the importance of digital empowerment, community support, and creating opportunities for women to thrive both economically and socially.
By sharing these inspiring stories, PLDT Home continues to encourage more mothers to pursue entrepreneurship. It reinforces the idea that success is not just about profit, but also about purpose, perseverance, and the ability to uplift others.
As the initiative continues to grow, it stands as a powerful reminder that when women are supported and empowered, they can drive meaningful change, not just within their homes, but across entire communities.
